[Case Study] Detection of thread breakage in 1000D thread is now possible.
Pursuing the susceptibility of wire guides to falling! A case study of redesigning the appropriate wire shape using CAD.
We would like to introduce a case where the customization of a stopper installed on the creel of a weaving machine has increased the types of yarn that can be handled. Using the N810004-L05/R05 stopper, we previously used three types of yarn. However, when processing particularly thick and strong yarns like 1000D, there was an issue where the stopper would not operate and would fall over during yarn breakage. After two weeks of careful consideration, we re-designed the shape of the wire to make it more prone to falling over, taking into account the characteristics of the equipment and the yarns used in that specific environment. As a result, we successfully enabled the detection of yarn breakage for 1000D yarn. [Challenges] - We want to apply it to several types of yarn as the yarn changes depending on the production item. - Particularly when processing thick and strong yarns like 1000D, the stopper does not operate and falls over during yarn breakage. - The wire guide is lighter than the yarn, and even if the yarn breaks, the yarn remains taut on the wire guide. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.
